AntiGravity Yoga

Fundamentals Antigravity

The AntiGravity Fundamentals class focuses on zero compression inversions, suspended stretching, and building strong foundational movements that are essential to progression in the practice. In AntiGravity Yoga, the hammock is used to alter one’s relationship with the ground, allowing the student to strengthen their body through unique exercises that challenge the laws of physics. As students’ progress, they will develop strength, coordination, flexibility, stamina, and poise that will align and decompress the spine.

Anti-Gravity Aerial yoga Requirements:
· Shirt that covers armpits to prevent hammock burn
· Long yoga pants/capris or tight sweat pants
· NO perfume
· NO buttons/ zippers of any kind
· NO Jewelry
· No socks
· Minimal make-up to prevent stains on hammocks
